This WAS very helpful, until this weekend. Since Sticky Notes is not a word processor which has many options for text editing, users who do not like the default font format and size cannot change the setting easily. You just select the text you want to format and use the keystroke combinations listed in For example, you can use the strikethrough effect on parts of your text. There are lots of ways that you can format text in a note. I would suggest you to press Ctrl key + T to undo the automatic strikethrough on the text. Additionally, Sticky Notes now has a dedicated formatting bar that lets you format text in bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and even toggle list. I understand the inconvenience that you have to go through due to this sticky notes issue.
